It was a little difficult to figure out how to deal with the overheating, but we realized that we needed to let water into the room. This fixed the overheating, but the water also prevented the mechanism from working properly, and this problem was more difficult to fix. Read on to learn how to fix both of these errors.

How to Fix Error: System Overheated in Genshin Impact

Water will help us cool the forging press. Here’s what you need to do:

• Go east from the center of the room.
• Go down and you will see a large stone with blue cracks.
• Break the stone.

After hitting the stone, it will break and water will flow out of the hole, quickly filling the room. Now the device has cooled down and you can try to restart it. However, after several attempts, another error will appear.

After interacting with the terminal, the game will prompt you to activate the drainage function. This is what we will do. Jump into the water and find the floating ray. You need to take its powers.

Now swim to the east of the centre of the room and find a jellyfish stuck in the algae. There will be glowing green orbs on the plant that you need to attack with the ray powers to free the jellyfish.

Now take the jellyfish powers and swim a little further until you see this fan with pink flowers on the sides. Attack the center of the circle to remove the roots of the flowers that are preventing the system from working.

Swim a little further and you will find another fan. Do the same as you did with the previous one.

Now all you have to do is activate everything. Swim to the surface and find the terminal shown in the screenshot below.

Now you can start the press again. This time you will succeed and get Lumenite Archium.
