How to Toggle Walk (Autorun) in Starfield

Starfield features planet exploration, whether it be by transport or by foot. If you choose the latter, it may get tiring to walk manually for so long. No worries, though, as in this guide, you’ll learn how to toggle walk and use autorun in Starfield.

Keep in mind that this feature is only available if you use a keyboard & mouse to play the game, but the way to do it is very simple. All you have to do is press a few buttons, so read below to learn how to do it.

You can also toggle the speed at which you’re moving between walking and running by pressing the Caps Lock button. This feature is handy since Bethesda is known for making “walk and talk” scenes, and not having to walk in such cases manually will help with immersion.

If you wish, you can also change the hotkeys for autowalk/run in the control settings to make it more convenient for you. And, as we said, those players who use controllers are getting the short end of the stick here, but it’s a feature that PC players will surely appreciate.

Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
