You should follow the next steps:
- Go to The Lodge and talk to Water Stroud. During the dialogue, he will tell you that he has set up a meeting with a seller who has one important artefact.
- Get on the ship and head to Neon, which is located in the Volii system on the planet Volii Alpha. When you arrive at Neon, follow all the directions until you need to investigate the seller.
- After you complete the tasks in the Astral Lounge you will need to find James Newill, who is located in the western part of the city in Newill’s Goods.
- From him, you have to get information about a salesman who was supposed to meet with Water Stroud. He will ask for 2,500 credits for this, but you can get what you want for free if you persuade him.
- No matter what you choose, James Newill will tell you that the seller is in Sleepcrate One.
- When you get to Ebbside, go straight ahead, then turn right and right again until you come across two doors.
- You need the locked one, so use the Digipick skill to get inside.
- Once in Sleepcrate One, you won’t find a seller there, but a computer to the right of the entrance will provide you more information about him. Personal correspondence indicates that the seller is in need of credits, which makes him vulnerable in this deal.

After reading this information, the objective will be updated, and you will be able to continue the mission.
